Does anybody know if there is a firmware update for the K110D?

Linux Users please help

I'm using PCLinuxOS and digiKam for viewing my pictures and when they made in as pef files I cannot read exiff info.
Thanks for any hints.

I'm a new owner of K100D and my firmware is not updated,
do I still can use 2GB card in full capacity ?

Yes. Format it, place the update in the right place, i.e. follow directions.

Change software; yours apparently doesn't read (all of) the .PEF format.

Odd, most folks seem to think AF is faster. As for being a whole different camera-yes and no. The hardware is the same; the firmware is different if you know where to look. I doubt, in general, it's much more than psychological.
