Soft focus with DA18-55 and DL

I was going thought the pictures I took this morning, and I noticed that the landscape pictures I took outside my house, the focus its a bit soft in the far objects (houses, trees, etc) Could I be doing something wrong?
Thanks

Gus

Were you shooting wide open? Was it a hazy day? An example pic will certainly help.
