K20D Pop Up Flash Stopped Working

The other night I was taking some pictures indoors and the flash just stopped working. I was just shooting in green mode with the popped up and it won't go off. i did not change any setting or anything. When I put my external flash on, the external flash works just fine. While that is great, I need the pop up for when we are just taking pictures of the kids around the house.

Has this happened to anyone else? I am using the 1.04 firmware, btw.

maybe the flash tube burned out?

maybe you had the shutter speed above 1/180?
