Help, on an island and forget something so simple about my K20!!

I'm currently in the Cayman Islands and forgot something so simple about my K20. I'm wanting to take JPEGS and DNG at the same time. But when I go to the record function in the menu, my options are JPEG, RAW and RAW + RAW. It used to say RAW + JPEG. What happened and how to I fix it without restorting to defualt. I don't want to reset all my custom stuff.

I know I'll have an answer soon. Can't wait to catch some of the beauty of this place.

It should have a Raw + jpeg option in there. The other option is to use dng press the button on front but you would have to do it every time you wanted a jpg.

I just checked my K20d menu and it should say, Raw+ which is for DNG plus jpeg. There is a separate line for dng or pef choice for the raw format. I have the raw button setup to do Raw +. That is also a separate line several scrolls down the menu.

This is about my K-r but maybe it helps with your K20.

I'm not near my camera but I recall my display showing "RAW+DNG" or "RAW+PEF" when I'm set to capture JPEG and RAW at the same time. The RAW+ part indicates it's taking a RAW plus a JPEG. The 2nd word indicates which of the 2 RAW formats has been selected.

It should just say RAW+. You set the RAW file format in a different menu.

Thank you all!! It works just fine. I got a little dramatic because of the vacation. Glad it's solved. Cheers.
