So - I'd like to get one of these (cheap eBay) white balance caps - just not sure about the size. I am using an FA50/1.7 it has a 49mm thread, but I don't want to thread the white balance cap on. I'd just like to use it as a pop on/off cap instead of my existing lens cap. Is that possible? Which size cap should I get to use as a pop on cap for an FA 50/1.7? All the listings on eBay are a bit confusing as they seem to have two parts - the lens cap and a threaded filter??

The white balance cap on eBay at 49mm fitted the 49mm 50/1.7. Logical I guess - but you can never be sure until you try. It's a little tight - but it's new cheap plastic. At least it stays on. Also using it as a white balance tool works great. Good deal for a couple of quid.
