Wait or Jump

Hi This is my first thread,

Should I keep my K-5 and wait for a Pentax full frame? or should I jump ship.

Thanks.

It would appear pentax are not going down the line of FF in the near future. I could be wrong but their has not been any indicators suggesting It will happen. (eg the production of Lenses for APS-c sensor)

You should jump, but first send your K-5 to me

Jump.

go and get one of these Canon 5dm2, 1dm3/4, or any Nikon FF.
I have test used all these Canikon and like them a lot.

Let me take over your k5 (for cheap please), seriously.

strange dilemna???

if you wait for pentax FF, then wait, but why keeping (or even having) a k5?

if you want FF, go to Canon or Nikon now (why waiting?)
if you like your K5, keep it.

there is nothing is between and probably most of your K5 lenses would not go an a Pentax FF.

Everytime you reach for a long lens you're going to miss that 1.5 crop factor. Long lenses will suddenly become much bigger, heavier and costly. But if that doesn't matter then you should be happy with a FF. Good luck with whatever you decide.

If you have to ask the question, jump if FF is important

If you wait, you will probably never see a Pentax FF and if you jump tomorrow, Pentax might announce it the day after that

PS any specific reason that you want FF?

That's the big reason I like APS-C. I shoot wildlife with long lenses a lot.

You can always have the best of both worlds. An APSc and an FF.

Keeping your K-5 is a good option.

A better one is to send it to me, for free.
