K-x colors don't aren't vibrant

I can't seem to get my camera to get good, vibrant colors. White balance is set to auto - what can I do to get better color? I am using various lenses including FA 31mm limited, DA * 50-135mm, and two kits lenses 18-55 and 55-300. Any advice or are most great, colorful pictures made via post processing?

Most great colorful pictures im sure are shot in RAW, and edited to the photographers personal tastes

You can increase saturation and/or contrast in the camera settings. If you shoot RAW those settings (and most others) have no effect on that file.

If you are using any filters on your lenses (UV etc), take them off and see if that makes a difference.

I shoot everything in RAW and when I load them up in my computer they really don't look so vibrant like you say, I use Adobe camera RAW 6 for my PP and all my images end up looking really vibrant just where I want them.
Dont be surprised if the RAW images dont look so vibrant coming right out of the camera you gotta do some Post Processing to get that certain look about them.

Always use a lens hood.
