lol

No clue how or what you'd miss on it, but my K20's are sitting on a shelf and I don't miss 'em one bit

Compared to the K-5, here's why:
Higher resolution and detail.
Better live-view.
Higher screen resolution.
Better FPS.
Much better shutter sound.
Better battery life.
Much higher ISO.
AF assist lamp.
Amazing DR.
Movie mode.

There are of course other gadgets that the K-5 has over the K20D, but I don't care much about those. However these are the main points that come to mind when I use it.

I liked the size better..when I mount my zoom lenses on it, it appeared more balanced in hand. You must appreciate the silky smooth low ISO pics that sensor was capable of..!!! Don't forget, it was the only credible weapon we Pentaxians had against the Semi pro champs from C and N.

Interesting you should raise this point. I only upgraded from an *ist DL to a K20D about 6 months ago. At the time the K-5 hadn't been released and so my choice was K20 or K-7. I went with the K20 partly because it was at 'run out' prices ($700), but also because I much preferred it ergonomically. Sure, I lust after a K-5 and I'm sure will end up with one once the price drops, but even with a grip fitted I still doubt the K-5 will feel as good in the hand as my K20.

I got my K5 2 weeks ago. I shoot with my K20 80% of the time. I love the K5, but I can't see myself ever wanting to sell my K20D.

I've purchased about 35 manual lenses and use them on the K20D. To be honest, I have more fun on it then the K5.
