Report: K200D works with Sandisk Extreme Pro

Before I forgot I have to tell you this. Wanted to pimp my new K200D, ordered a 8GB Sandisk Extreme Pro UHS-1 class card, it just arrived,

Amazon Sandisk Extreme Pro card

shot coupla pics with it (well like 10-15) including RAW+ option, then downloaded to computer and it seems everything is all right for now....

Good to know. From the review looks like the SDHC UHS-1 card is backwards compatible. It should work on old devices.

As fast as K200D, AFAIK K200D speed is 6MB/s while Extreme pro is 45MB/s, that is. My old card was 20MB/s, would you think this pro card will make any change on write speed?

I doubt it, i couldnt tell the difference between a class 6 and class 10 card in the K200D.

The fastest I have is a Sandisk class 6 (30MB/s edition), which is noticeably faster than a class 4.

even a k-5 maxes out of 18mb write speed and wont benifit from uhs1 vs a faster class 10
