It would seem that they are keeping this set to one value. You see it referenced on Kodak chip data sheets, it is set individually for each chip.

I also found reference on the kodak site which suggested dark current (noise) doubling every 7C (12F)

Interesting. The K10D registers the internal temperature. Perhaps its used to feedback the noise reduction algorithm.

The NuCore PEK (breadboard) uses the Sony ICX452 5Mp chip. The ICX452 datasheets are all over the Internet if you are interested.
