So.... My new Impact batteries

arrived from B&H the other day. When I opened them I had a really good laugh. Anybody from DPR remember the "Petnax" threads?

I think someone was in a real hurry to get these things out the factory door.

I must still be half asleep. I don't understand what you are trying to communicate.

Only thing that 'bugs' me is that they call them D-L150 (Dee EL one-fifty) when they are really D-LI50 (Dee EL EYE fifty). I suspect that 'EL Eye' stands for 'Lithium Ion'.

YEAH!!! Forum software with edit capabilities.

Missed the misspelling. Good catch!

Yeah, does that mean "Pant Ax" or "Pan Tax"?

Don't we still write Petnax when we feel the need?
Impact Pantax... I notice they are 1700 mAh, the same capacity as the Sterlingtek equivalents.

I should say of course, it has no ... "impact" on their performance (sorry guys, I couldn't resist). They work just fine in the camera.

I'll receive a "Pantax" battery for Christmas (I know because I just sneaked a look into the box from B&H that contains my presents). I assume that the Pentax (note the "e") supplied charger will work with the Impact??

Thanks,

Jerry

I bought 2 of them and a charger, so I could charge 2 at a time. The Pentax charger charges them just fine.

Thanks, I'll charge mine up as soon as my wife hands the battery over on Dec 25.
