Why no K-7 Forum?

Would be helpful, since I just got a brandnew K-7 from a UK retailer and still trying to understand it after a transition from a K100D.
K-7 section would be very helpful considering there are a fair number of them still in retail sales

K7 is indeed a great camera. For most shooting jobs its more than adequate. I have some excellent shots to prove its worth. YES we need a K7 forum.

Why no K-7 forum? Just marketing.
Cause Sidney Crosby sells more tickets than Pavel Datsyuk. Marketing chooses to highlight a certain player to increase interest and help move a product.
Pentax (and site sponsors B&H and Adorama) have greater profit margins with new models compared with older models. (that's a bit cynical)
Last year's release of those newer models generated a lot of interest and the forum decide to address the traffic in a more personal matter.

I would hope this site is above marketing influences, I am sure people come here to get support, learn new things and make friends, not be subjected to what "marketing" wants them to see

Speaking of B&H, that's who I bought my K-7 from early last month

I believe in this site, which is why I became a supporter the day I joined.

My friends that have DSLR are upgrading their camera to what-ever in their brands when they show my K-7. hehe

Isn't this like the 10th time this question has been asked? We only have dedicated forums for current pentax models, and once new bodies come out, those forums will be replaced and the old threads moved.

Model-specific questions or general questions should go in the dslr section (where everything went back in the day).

Not for me, I'm new to both this site and the DSLR World, I can withdraw my support (support which I gladly gave to this site within two days of joining by the way) and go away if you'd like though

If you were so upset by the thread, why didn't you just lock it right away?
