I often face the situation were mode dial was accidentally turned to a wrong mode and I only noticed it after a couple of shots - by the time opportunity was lost to re-shoot. Since I mostly shoot in Av mode, I just wish that there was an option for locking the mode dial in k-x (like in k-5).

Does anyone also faced this? I just wish that there was a way to lock mode dial. Is there any accessory to do the same?

I also wish there was dial lock, but none I am afraid. Tape it perhaps.

DIY with tape is the best I can think of

A blob of the sticky stuff that you stick posters to walls with works to stabilise the wheel and is easy to pull off when you want to change modes. Alternatively, teach yurself to look before you shoot
