Given the spillover of the highlights into the black area I'd say that either the trailing curtain is triggering early (doubtful) or the mirror is not lifting properly (my guess).
Edit: It definitely looks like the mirror, with a 3 second exposure the trailing curtain problem does not make much sense.

It does not appear to be the card, if it was the picture would be cut off in a single row of pixels.

Try this:

1.) Put the camera(s) in mirror lock up mode.
2.) Press the shutter release button, you should hear the mirror flip into the up position and you should not be able to see through the viewfinder. If you can see through the viewfinder, or if you do not hear the mirror moving you've identified the problem.
3.) Press the shutter button again to take the picture.
4.) Report back with your results!

Also: try shining a flashlight through the viewfinder and taking a picture.
