Beach camera's shipping is the best. When you order overnight, it actually comes the next day

If no one's there to get it, FedEx normally leaves the package by your door.
I sure hope not; I live in an apartment complex, and it would be FAR too easy for somebody to make off with it.

Of course, I have had interesting luck with package delivery lately- it seems the expensive stuff they drop right off, but the cheap stuff simply MUST be signed for.

Interesting market out there.

Many have already dropped the price of the K10 $20 or $30 while most have raised the price of the K100 around the same amount. Supply and demand I guess - can't blame them for increasing the margin a bit.

I see Amazon playing with pricing on both cameras from day to day.

Also, something that's not mentioned too often. Read the seller's return policy before assuming they'll take your camera back for exchange or refund. Many, not all but many, hit you with a heavy restocking fee that ranges from 10% to 25%.

Amazon will FULL-refund or exchange for 30 days and so I try to use them whenever I can (Not connected to them - just like their policies).

I think Amazon's pricing varies because they keep switching between stores. Sometimes the listed price is from Amazon themselves, sometimes it is from Beach Camera, sometimes from other places.

The thing I noticed is that the K10D is going for near MSRP, but the K100D is going for well under. I am thinking that it is because the K100D has been out longer, and there is more pent-up demand for the K10D (it being a more prosumer-oriented body and such). And that's before you consider the $50 rebate on the K100D body.

If the K10D were selling at the same discount the K100D is getting, I might have made the jump and gone with a different lens. As it is, the price gap was just too much for me to justify.
