Can IR Remote be used for continuous shooting?

Universal Digital SLR Remote for Pentax / Nikon / Canon / Konica Minolta - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

Looking at that. Would I be able to use it for continuous shooting or would I have to press it each time?

Only one button work on my Kx.

I think you need to set it on your camera

How does it work though? Do you hold the button down or just press it once and it keeps shooting 'til you press it again?

K-x? Really? What remote do you use?

mojoe_24: I have the exact same remote you put a link here and no, it doesn't do continuous shooting on my K-x.

Just realized it is a camera option and may not work continuously with the K-X, it is under the drive mode options for the K5 (Remote/Continuous).

What would be the best way to set up continuous shooting then?

For what camera? As noted, the K5 supports it with the remote and you enable it within the drive mode functions....

Well, don't really think you have an option for it. I originally thought the K-X had it until I looked at the drive mode settings - the K5 does have it though. As for options, if it is a feature that you absolutely must have, then maybe an upgraded camera body (K7, K5), or maybe keep pushing the remote button as fast as you can; not sure what you would get for fps though...
