Originally posted by metalmania I used to have the Jingfinance splict-image screen installed on a K10D. It worked well as expected. The lower half gets dark after f/5.6 under low light. Outside in the daylight, there is no darkness even at f/16.
Well today I put the screen in my K20D. WTH, I couldn't believe my eyes. The screen is ALWAYS BRIGHT even at f/16 under low light condition. This never happened before. I changed several lenses and tested both indoor and outdoor. It's just like that.
Now I can happily take the K20D with Sigma mini-wide II anywhere. Well I just don't know how to explain it.
Well, since the lenses and the screen are the same, the only explanation that I can think of is that the K10 loses more light between those two points than the K20. Mirror? Prism box?
