K20 Live View Focus Problem

Don't use this much, but for some reason I cannot get the Pentax lenses to focus in Live Mode. Any ideas? Thanks.

Autofocus doesn't work during LiveView. You can switch from AF.S or AF.C to MF, and manually focus your AF lenses; or you can use MF lenses. That's a major purpose of LiveView, to give you a bigger display while you manually focus on critical subjects. Good luck!

I use it so infrequently that I thought AF worked in Live View. Would you know if it works in the new K-5 model...not that it is a big deal.

Yes, AF works in LV on both the K7 and K5. I remember trying it once on the K20d and the view was so poor in LV, it wasn't worth the effort of using it.
