I had the same problem -- don't panic! Focusing screen is most likely misaligned. Very easy to fix: just unlock it, push it back with tweezers of use gravity and lock it back. Repeat this procedure if necessary. (Be careful not to allow any dust into a pentaprism chamber or on screen itself -- easy to clean with compressed air but try to avoid it.)

Warning: if you use DA18-55 test alignment at 55mm end, not at 18mm!

(DA18-55 lens has considerable barrel distortion at the wide angle end additionally magnified in the viewfinder. Even if you try to align lines there are no lines to align! You brain may think something is a line because you know it is in the real world but there is a high chance of being tricked by aligning curves to viewfinder lines. My advice: don't think about it, just feel it at wide-angle!
