Is there a link to Steve's website?

Unfortunately I'm not very talented with computers, so have never learned how to post links. If you type in 'Steve's Digicams' you should be able to bring it up on your screen.

Hope this helps.

You can just type the URL (http location) in your message and the forum software will figure it out. In this case:

I liked Yvon's book, I also got a video "Guide to the Pentax K10D" produced by Jumpstart Guides from Samy's Camera (where I bought my K10D). It has a lot of information in it. As a matter of fact I have to pause it a lot because the narrator does not seem to breathe... he just talks like he as had 14 Starbucks in preparation for his job!

I have the Magic Lantern book for the K100D, because it's the camera I have-)

It does expand a little on the manual, and in more-understandable native (non-translated) English, and has some useful reference material in the back, such as all the lens mount types.

The wallet cards are useless, however. It's faster just navigating menus rather than looking on a card somewhere.

A fun part was looking at the examples of white-balance options - in black-and-white photos. :-)

DCRP Review: Pentax K10D

I know it's a review ( from another web site ) but there is some good basic information there.
