I got the lens guard filter and the step-up ring out of my camera bag. I got the last white coffee filter we had from my wife. I got the idea from someone else here on Pentax Forums.

Anything at all will work; you just need some sort of frame to hold the paper. Cut a couple of doughnuts from the cardboard of a box of Corn Flakes or something. Put the filter paper in between and staple it together.
