Hola Paco! Incorrect metering is the usual cause of exposure problems. You can choose SPOT or CENTER-WEIGHTED or MATRIX automatic metering on your camera. MATRIX often is the most useful, but may not work well if the subject is not well-lit. SPOT or CENTER-WEIGHTED are often most accurate if the subject is centered in the frame, but these can be fooled if the subject is in darkness. If the light is uneven or difficult, I may meter either manually or automatically, take a test shot, review the picture on the LCD screen, and adjust the EV until the exposure is correct.
