K7 start-up dust removal

Can anyone verify that the dust removal action upon start-up is completely silent on the K7? I could always feel and hear the vibration of it upon starting my K10?

It's pretty quiet.
A lot quieter than the K10 or K20.

No vibration is completely silent unless inertial dampeners are activated

It is, however, very quiet from what I've witnessed.

Re: start-up

Then I guess mine is normal and that start-up is shaking of the dust even though I don't feel it.

At start-up the dust removal noise is blanketed by the aperture control motor noise. When I do manual DR, I have to put the camera right up to my ear to hear it. Yes, sucks to get old.

I came into this conversation a bit late, but I think I've just learned why all my shots are a bit off centre. I've been putting the camera up to my eye all along...

Regards

Not silent...

In all technicality, it is silent as far as actually shaking the sensor (the K100D Super shakes) however because I am so sensitive to high-pitched noises I can hear the ultrasonic squeal... It is normal, my sensor stays dust free longer.
