Battery eliminator suggestion for K100DS?

Hi,

Due to its excellent image quality/overall performance (and my irrational love to it) my K100DS refuses to retire. I'm using it more and more as a dedicated studio unit mostly with the A50 f1.7 Since this is a controlled environment, I'm looking for a DC power supply to avoid the hassle of batteries. Any good recommendations?
I have an upcoming shoot of a few hundred items for a catalog.

Well, the Pentax D-AC76 was the one that was made for the K100ds. On the Pentax store site they go for $91+ PentaxWebstore - Power Accessories

I happened to get one for less awhile ago but, finding these for less or used is (or was) hard.

You will need 6.5 volts DC and a plug compatible with the D-AC76.

There are many power supplie decicated for digital cameras with variable voltage output and interchangeable plugs. Do not buy the very cheapest ones but find one from a known manufacturer.

I have used the Hama Digi-25 for years for my *ist DL and K200D without any issues or problems (just to mention one example). I don't know the exact price level to expect in your area but a qualified guess is around USD 40.
