When is K-3 hitting the stores?

So, this is a thread/poll about when do you think that K-3 will be available in stores for purchase. An announcement is not enough, we want to buy it.

So wheater it is a K-5 Super with the current 16 megapixel sensor, or K-3 with new 24 megapixel Sony sensor or K-3 20 megapixel Samsung sensor.

All three sensors are ready for a new camera. Is Ricoh moving fast or slow? The question is: When do you think you can make a run to your bank?

Voted for May 2012, for 2 reasons: I just made a purchase on a K5 kit from Adorama and don't want the next best to come put TOO soon, also, May would be AFTER tax season, so I would have all my taxxes paid off from selling my stock options to be able to afford this next best thing if it is leaps and bounds past the abilities of the K5.

i think announcement in feb. then release some time in march. although it doesn't really matter to me since I can't afford it when it comes out but if the k5 price drops enough then maybe i can have that and it would be more than enough for me.

Announcement in December, Camera arrival middle of January 2012. Hopefully Pentax has learned their lesson about rushing products to market that are only half-baked and will take adequate time to get the next camera right before releasing it. Obviously there will always be flaws that will only be caught after the fact, but you want a finished product as much as possible before release.

I've posted this before, but

K10d - released Sept 06
K10d Grand Prix - released June 07 (9 months after K10d release)
(K10d the flagship for 16 Months)

K20d - released Jan 08
K20d Titan - released Mar 09 (14 Months after K20d release)
(K20d the flagship for 16 months)

K-7 - released May 09
K-7 Silver - released Mar 10 (8 Months after K-7 release)
(K-7 the flagship for 17 Months)

K-5 - released Oct 10
K-5 Silver - released Mar 11 (5 Months after K-5 release)

If the K-5 sticks around as the flagship model for 16 month, we should see a new release sometime around February. The "K" line was only one of many film bodies and I wonder how long they will stick with it before moving to H, S, M, L (I would presume they would leave the L line for FF) or whatever.

I don't see it any earlier than March 2012, and that would only maintain the current product cycle that they have maintained in the past. That schedule for the K5 didn't spare the new adopters from problems, and this time there is probably additional problems in the supply chain for new products / parts in Japan due to the Tsunami. I would wonder if Ricoh would introduce any additional or new QC in the current production line, so that it would be ready for the new set of bodies.

It is fun to think of something either interesting or just fun. This one is just for fun. How long do I have to drag along that K-5 black with me? When enough people enter the poll I think the average answer will be close to the real one (talking about over 1.000 entry's or so).
