reviewing equipment on PP

There are some completely unrealistic reviews on PP. Forum designers should not take into account, when calculating ratings, some 10% of the upper and lower ratings of equipment. Perhaps that way we see a more consistent rating.

Easy to do, makes sense, and done in one form or another in many academic research settings. I vote yes.

I assume by PP you mean Popular Photography, not Phnom Penh?

I'd go for that, too. Sort of like Olympic ice-skating judging - throw out the high and the low and take the average of the rest.
