K5 vs. K7 rear LCD display differences in review (playback) mode

Here is what I mean:

Take shots with both the K5 and the K7 and review them on the rear LCD screen:

On the bottom of the screen, from left to right, things read differently.

Example:
K5: RAW 1/1000 F4.0 ISO 3200 so here it shows the ISO, which is what I like
K7: RAW 1/8 F2.8 100_8145 and here it shows the file no., which is not what I want.

I've browsed pretty much all over ... is this the normal way for the cameras to display the reviewed pictures differently? Frankly, I had never paid attention to this before but today while using both cameras ... I did notice!

Any idea anyone?

Cheers.

JP

My K-7 shows the file no. as yours. Another plus for K-5.

I was not going to post but as no one else did--my K20d has option of displaying sensitivity or remaining number of exposures--and I would be very surprised if the K-7 doesn't also. Did you look in the menus for something like "display sensitivity?"

Thnaks for posting, dms.

Well, it looks like I cannot change the file no. to ISO (sensitivity) at the rear screen (monitor) during playback.
I also browsed the K7 manual and couldn't find anything about that, unless I have missed something.

Surely, there has to be a way to change this.

I am a bit surprised to see that the K5 does indicate the ISO but not the k7 ... go figure!
