Connecting K-x with K7 battery pack

Saw this on a Taiwan based Pentax forum - ????kx ???? (k7??????) - Pentax Fans Club

Shutter release button working as well. Not sure how he did it though...

Looks very neatly done.

But it is an expensive grip to use for that purpose.

Aha. I see he is hacking a cheaper 3rd party battery grip, not an expensive Pentax grip. Now it makes more sense.

But his solution means the battery grip is permanently wired to the K-x, which is not a good idea.

Just get couple sticks of hot glue and attach the grip to cam with that. Coat the wires too and It will be beautiful.
