PopPhoto says D300s first DSLR Send into Space on a Weather Balloon.

PopPhoto article. Except that they haven't seen this from 2008.

It reads like a puff piece for Nikon i.e an "advertorial".

I wonder if the "Walmart styrofoam Berr Cooler" is also a NASA prefrred brand.

Interesteing the comment wondering about the radiation, and I note that Pentaxpoke's 2008 experiment was primarily to actually measure this radiation.
Brilliant photos BTW - of the original 2008 flight I'm talking about.
