Quantaray Q15 flash compatibility

Is a Quantaray Q15 flash compatible with a K-x? I haven't been able to find much of anything on the Q15.

I'm not sure but I wouldn't even try it until you find out more. That is a pretty old model flash if I am not mistaken and it may have high trigger voltage that could damage your camera. Even if you can not find the trigger voltage you can measure it. I can not recall the exact procedure but try googleing measure flash trigger voltage or something. Is that one a single point contact (only has one metal contact on the bottom), thyristor type flash? If it is and the trigger voltage is safe it should work fine. Outside of the trigger voltage issue, there is no risk in trying it if it is a single contact flash.

I don't know if it's single contact, but I'm pretty sure he said it is an Auto Thyristor
