Sigma 35-70mm and Tokina SD 70-210mm f/4-5.6 K-r compatibility

Hey!!I'm new round here so if this is a little irrelevant
I own a K-r with the 18-55 lens..I found these lenses:
-Tokina SD 70-210mm f/4-5.6
-Sigma ZM 35-70mm
..on ebay and I'd like some advice about them..
1st Do they work with my dslr? (I usually use the M and Av programms)
2nd Are they a good bargain? (100euros both!)
3rd Which other lens do You suggest to me?
Thank You in advance!!!!

Bye!!!

Tokina and sigma makes lens for many different camera brands. If you post the links you might get a better answer if we can see what the lens actually is. No guarantee from the description on ebay as some sellers are not familiar with camera equipment.

You should post a link so we can check what mount they have...

Also, I've updated your thread title to something more relevant to your question.

The tokina should be ok but it is a manual focus I think I can't see the screw drive.
there always loads of these on ebay but AF ones are rare.
all good lenses good guality [when new]

think twice about that sigma it is a very odd range for digital use, better to look for a 28 -70 or there abouts. much more use, that what I use for weddings in a f2.8 version both sigma and tokina

you have first to decide and tell us what you want these lenses for?

remember that the focal lengths need to be multiplied by 1.5 for you digital camera

roughly speaking uses of the lens sizes as shown on the lens [not multiplied]
18 average wide angle use
35 looks like what you see width wise with your eyes
50 looks like what you see size wise
try these on your 18-55 and you will see what I mean.

if you want a tele lens that is bigger than your 55mm then I would suggest you look for a lens that goes 55-200 or 300 or two lenses say 28 -70 and 70-200 then ask the seller is it autofocus and auto aperture there are loads of old manual lenses for sale so be careful.
I think the best advice is if you are realy unsure the go to a camera shop first and look at their used lenses, you dont have to buy but you will learn what to look for .

Well ,as You said I'm looking for a tele lens bigger than my 18-55mm..
I'd like to have an all-around lens like 18-200mm(or the 28-200mm tamron for example)but my budget is low for now..
So I think a lens like this one
Tamron 70-300mm F4-5.6 AF LD Macro Lens Reviews - Tamron Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database
is ok for now, huh? What's Your opinion?
Really thank You for Your answers..
