K10D lens focus issue - should I upgrade

I have a K10D and the 50-135mm DA. It was always back focussing and I finally found out how to adjust it. Now it's wonderful. BUT: I just bought the DA 35mm AL (not the macro) - and in front focuses like crazy. It seems the K10D cannot be user adjusted for more than one lense. I was also going to buy the 21mm. It seems that the K10D is not really good for me if I want to keep my da zoom (for sports pictures) and build a fixed lenses collection - since keeping one lense adjsuted will mean that the others won;t auto-focus well.

So I was thinking of upgrading - to the K20D opinions? I can also get K7 ($200 more than used K20D). Problem is K20D have more shutter count 9Typically > 50,000) - should I be worrried?

Opinions?

Thanks in advance

If only precision is the concern, K20d is capable of separate adjustment for several lenses. K7 is also lot faster and has some other features you could appreciate. How much more is it for you to get a K-5?
I had my K10D adjusted in Pentax service with several lenses and it was sufficient for me until the K-5 arrived. I didn't feel K20D of K7 worthy of upgrade, at least for the prices as they wre new.

Pentax repair centers can adjust the K10D for a number of lenses; up to 6 if I'm not mistaken. You can also keep a list of adjustments that each lens needs and do the adjustment when you swap lenses; not as convenient though.

Good luck with your shopping

That's one of the reasons I got a K20, it can Fine Tune AF for up to 20 lenses, which is very very sweet. Additionally, it does rather well at ISO1600 for me. The extra Megapixels allows for more cropping options. I never considered the K-7; I've read too many issues regarding this Pentax model. All in all, it was a natural upgrade from the K10. However, IQ at ISO100 on my K10 cannot be beat by the K20 (or any camera for that matter), I dearly love that K10 and still use it!

50K clicks is getting up there, I would look for one with less than 25k... good luck!
