Don't hold the fat man in the red suit hostage until we get ours, OK?

I got it!!!! Good thing there is the preview mode, because I don't have a card yet. I'm going to go pick up a cheap one at Target tomorrow. Then I'll get a better one from Amazon or someone.

WOoooooohooooooo!

Congratulations

Just remember that the cheap card should also be a fast card. The K10D benefits from a fast card ... well that's what I've read ... I'm still waiting for mine

Congratulations, you lucky rascal! I've got to wait another one to two weeks for mine.

By the way. May I suggest this memory card from Newegg.

Transcend 2GB Secure Digital. It's lightning fast at 150X and very highly reviewed. Only $36.99.

This online retailer seems to have far and away the best memory pricing. Not connected to Newegg. I just buy from them and have usually been very satisfied.

We can only hope that she's pulling a fast one on you. Good Luck!

By the way, explain to her that it's impossible to spend too much on a beloved baseball team. Your attendance at those games was a requirement, not an option. Not only is there the matter of team loyalty but there's also the very important matter of civic responsibility.

I only need that cheap card as a temp, essentially. Until I can get a faster one shipped. That's all.

I got the card!

Here are a couple macro shots I took of a little snowman holiday decoration. No biggie, just messing around with it!

The kit 18-55 lens for now. I like it a lot, though, I'd just like a telephoto and a macro to compliment it.

These were handheld. I find this camera VERY easy to hold. I had a 1.2 second shutter that was very clear hand held. I'll attach it to show you guys.

Thanks!

It's the 110 just so you know.

It's going to be a lot of fun getting new toys for this, eventually. Like a tripod, new lenses, maybe a nice macro flash or something. I'm so excited.

It's a Pentax that's all that counts . And there are a lot of nice toys to go with it. Merry Christmas and a very photogenic new year.

Good Shooting.
Cheers: David
