Stupid question about in camera processing..

This is a silly question but will shooting raw ignore all my camera settings for post processing. Such as sharpness, etc, etc ( i am guessing yes), and will it disable the in camera noise reduction processing? I figure it will but I just wanted to double check.

You can change just about every setting - sharpness, saturation, white balance - except ISO during the conversion (though you can adjust the esposure about +/- 1 with acceptable results. Not sure about the in-camera noise reduction setting, though.

Thanks for the reply special K. I currently shoot raw, but am just wondering is the in camera noise reduction applied to the raw files?

Yes the noise reduction will be applied to the RAW files. A dark image is taken and compared to the actual image on long exposures to eliminate sensor noise.
