Unintentional Durability Test

I fell in a stream today with my K200D with the 18-55WR lens on it. The camera was fully submerged for a few seconds and is still kickin. Probably a little luck involved but still, pretty impressed.

Agreed... I've had a couple of 'near-misses' out on the hill... Always a hard landing too when your hands are in the air holding your camera safe as you face-plant the hardest surface for 30 miles!

My Pentax K-r drop because of my classmate in photography class, he slipped while holding my Pentax on the lens (not proper camera handling) and not wearing the strap. My Pentax smash on the ground and covered with dirt. But after I cleaned my Pentax K-r it is still working and no damage at all

Me and my K10 have been submerged twice now, my other hobby is competitive 4x4 trials so I'm out in the mud a lot and the last time we went for a dive it was into a mixture of mud and rocks in a small stream bed that had been chewed up by at least 20 4x4's. I had a bottle of drinking water in the back of my 4x4 and poured the whole 2 litres over the camera, dried it on my mates shirt ( mine was wet ), and it was fine.
It's the main reason I converted from Canon.
