i am wondering if any one has tried out this site here is the link Welcome to Pentax Hack
they have some interesting stuff here about firmware.

i dont know what this is for and if someone would please let me know i would really appreciate it so much i am not that computer savy with the firmware thing thanks...

While clearly there are some firmware hacks out there like debug mode, if you are not that savy, it might be wise to not mess with it.
