Just found out what Santa brought me!!!

FA 31mm 1.8 OMG I'm so happy. I can't wait to go get it from my mom's house tomorrow. What do you guys think about this lens and it's uses.

That is a great lens. Sharp wide open with fantastic bokeh.

I love the exterior silver finish (mine is not black). A gem.

Your mum is a great mum (I am too materistic!)

A few shots of mine

1/30s f/1.8 at 31.0mm iso200 full exif

1/45s f/5.6 at 31.0mm iso400 full exif

1/15s f/1.8 at 31.0mm iso400 full exif

1/30s f/1.8 at 31.0mm iso400 full exif

Have fun snapping

Looking forward to see your posts from it

Merry Christmas!

You hit the jackpot. The 31 is a great lens for available light shooting. You will have a hard time getting it off the camera. Can't wait to see some more night shots. The lens is so sharp. Mom did great. Treat her right.

Merry Christmas

Moms the best. Even after all these years sher's stiil supportive of my creative endeavours. She's the best. I already snapped a few pics and this lens is incredible. On the digitsl sensor it is a great normal lens at 47mm or so. I'll post pics as I get them .Thanks

Here is an example

a portrait of one of my photographer friends with the FA 31mm limited. I could go one for days about the quality. It's the best lens I've ever owned.
This was 1/1500 at F3.5 ISO 400

Looks like you have a great lens on your hands. Is Mom in the mood to adopt a daughter that's probably close to her own age?
