Hmmm....where are the K-r users? Curious if the K-x was on its own category how would it fair against the others?

I have a K-x... There are a few people on my Uni campus that also have K-x's too... Never seen a Km in anyones hand but a local store had a secondhand one recently that sold quick - so it's around here somewhere...

Very good poll.
Useful to see how many ppl suffer 'first taste syndrome'
and how many dinos survived the ice age.

I have a K5 and a K200D, but find I'm using the older camera much more often (due to it having a Katz-Eye focusing screen) with my manual focus lenses. Like them both, especially the WR specification on both models. I find that the ability to use AA batteries is a big plus in favor of the K200D when traveling. A K-r or K-x might be in my immediate future.

K-5

Been waiting to upgrade from a K20D to a K-5 when my price point was reached, which happened 29 Dec 2011 - I've owned a *ist, a K10D, the earlier mentioned K20D, and have given away or sold, or traded in all the previous cameras. It was worth the wait. The K-5 can do photos that were previously impossible, I love it. I was considering getting the Leica V-Lux 3 as the K20D did not do as well as the Leica point and shoot camera I have (lots of noise at ISO above 800), but that problem has been addressed in the K-5. I'm one happy camper!

It's not a fair poll. Multiple choices should be allowed.

I use my K5 for most shots, K10 for infrared, and my K20 if I have have a slight concern about the saftey of the camera.

80% K-5
10% MZ-S
10% K-x

I get a lot of keepers from my MZ-S relative to shots taken compared to my DSLR's though, there's something to be said about spending 30 cents a click to try and make every frame count.

Just sold my K-5 in anticipation of a new camera release later this year. My venerable, but like new K100D Super, still takes fine photos.

I have 2 K10D's, I just love them. Also 2 K1000's and 2 PZ-1's for film.

K-r. Considering a K-5, or holding out for a real new camera this year. Not in any hurry to upgrade but some higher end features I'd like (top LCD etc).

K-5 Limited is for good. K-7 is for interval timelapse (to save the shutter on the K-5). K10D is gathering dust and *ist-DS handed down to son.
