Voted "3" since I own a Pentax K-5, a K20D and a K-x. But if MILCs count, I'm at 4 due to my Samsung NX10.

I don't actually need more than 1 DSLR (or 2 at most), but selling the older ones is too much trouble, too little to gain.

lots really

Four at the moment,

istD (IR)
K10D
K20D
K5

The K20 is going to get IR converted and the istD will (Maybe) be put up for sale.

The K5 will be backup for the up-coming FF and the K10 will be the camera in the boot / trunk.

It's good to have a plan!

Bill

I would suggest getting it fixed by Pentax and then selling it off would get you some way to the 560/5.6 !

One. A k-5, which I both love and hate. But it is a good machine, clicking bravely away.
The older ones are with children.

I want a second one. But only ff. And if ff does not come and I can convince my husband I really don't need a new car again and the old one can still drive me around for another 3 or 4 years, the savings might be put to mf. I don't care about cars . But to own and use a mf in my "old days", now that would be something. (My oldest son is quite handy repairing cars ).

Yes, I also have 3 csc's. Wonderful things.

I've got 4 Pentax dSLR's at the moment, K2000, K10D, K20D and White K-x.

Of the 4, the K10D delivers the very best and noise free image at ISO 100, all others at ISO100 (or base ISO) will show some noise when viewed at 100%. It's still a favorite but I think it's on it's way out, some button commands no longer function properly, AF has always been wonky and presently, I am having difficulties focusing any lens to infinity, at least I think I am.

The K-x is a very interesting camera with higher ISO capabilities, OOC images are pretty good. I feel I can use this camera at ISO1250 all day long without losing much detail or burdened with high noise. I got the Stormtrooper White, I am slowly kind of regretting it, you can't use this camera w/o attracting attention.

The K20D allows you to Fine Tune Auto Focus on up to 20 lenses (I believe), which to me is priceless. This camera can properly focus every lens I use without having to go into debug mode or some other quick fix. The 15+/- mp sensor allows for a lot of cropping room. It surprisingly does well at ISO 1600.

The worse/best of it all, I can't get myself to part with any of them...

Two. K200D bought in 2008. Samsung GX20 bought in 2009 simply because the body with the lens (12-24 Schneider Xenogon) was going for $660 equiv. in 2009. Both bodies have proven useful with satisfactory image quality. About the only reason to change either would be the lower noise and high ISO capability of the K-5 and possible successors.

I have two now, a k-x and a k-r. Bought the k-r from a forum member when I knew I was going to have send my k-x in for service to fix the e-dial. It just got back and plan on selling as I have fallen in love with my k-r. Just a enough better in all areas to make me love using it.

But right now I do have 2...
