Looks like the same concept of a few DIY projects I've seen using fiber optic strands and a bicycle inner tube to redirect a flash. No reason it shouldn't work decently as long as it is well-made, and the price is right. I've been thinking about a ring light myself, but don't want to spend a fortune.

But I definitely want the burrito wrap.

If you pulled the trigger on this thing, I'd be interested to know well it works...
