I bought a used Pentax Ist DS and found when I use a 4gb card the number of recordable images doesn't count down. If I put in a 1gb card it counts down as I should. Is this a bug all DS models have or a problem. It does record images to the 4gb card properly it only the count that is wrong..

Note Firmware version is 2.02 and is the latest as far as I can tell.

That's not a bug- it's just that the 4gb card has a capacity greater than 999, so it won't start counting down until you start filling up the card

Thanks for the reply, I thought that might be the case after I did the math.
