flash bulb kaput!

Hi,

Brand new here at the forum and wondering if anyone has experienced a blown bulb in thier on board camera flash...and fixed it?

I use the ist DL.

Unfortunately the on board flash is a known weakness in Pentax DSLRs. Happened to one of my DS's. I don't believe it is a do it yourself repair. If the camera is still in warranty, send it in. If it isn't make sure you get a repair estimate first. If the rest of the camera is OK, it might be cheaper and better to get an external flash.
