My situation doesn't fit here. I came to Pentax already owning a FF DSLR, a Kodak Pro SLR/C. I bought a screw mount adapter for it and my K10D so I can carry one set of lenses if I have both bodies. I use the FF if I want to use wide lenses as wides and not normals. The Kodak also slows me way down as it is very finicky and takes a lot of planning of a shot to get the great results it's capable of. Sometimes that's a good thing and I'll use it just because of that. But I use the K10D 95% of the time. I would buy a FF Pentax in hot second though if they made one.

My selection, if it existed, would be:
Yes owning a FF DSLR of any make would be cool, lt just won't happen anytime soon because I can't even afford the gear I currently have.

Went for Nikon

I've bought Nikon FF system (camera, lenses, flash) which is going to be used for paid work, however I'm keeping K-5 and FA limiteds. Will sell (here in Marketplace) flash, grip and all my APS-C lenses.

Went for calcium but I will also keep the FA 77 ltd. Way too good lens to sell. And could use it on the 5d also with minor non damaging tweak.
And in case Pentax will give us a FF some day...

I wanted to play with FF for cheap, so I bought a used 5D mk1 for $800.

I'm keeping my K-r and lenses for the moment because I think it's better for long range shooting (70-300).

I would be happy if Pentax releases a FF but I don't think I'll buy it because it's gonna be too expensive.

For now I'm curing my LBA with M42 lenses, they are cheap and work on both systems =)
