K100D resetting power

Something is loose inside the camera. If I turn it upside down something shifts causing the power to go out. When it comes back on the date and time screen appears on the rear display. It takes a picture fine and displays it ok. Is this an easy fix and how to I disassemble the camera?

K100D or K100D super? If it's the latter, then the sound is normal and the battery contacts probably just need adjustment.

How do I know if it is a Super model?

As I think Adam is referring to the SR, it does not matter if it's the K100D or K100D Super; both have SR (K110D does not). And for SR, you can indeed feel / hear something moving.

The fact that date and time are lost under certain circumstances indicates that the supercap (which supplies the clock with power when the batteries are taken out) died. If you can live with it, live with it; else get it repaired; repair might however not be economically feasible.
