K-x BIF

Shot this recently with my K-x and Sigma 50-150 here in Winnipeg. Thanks for looking. (Posted as well at the "other" forum.) C &C welcome.

Even on my not so good monitor that duck really pops from the background. Almost a 3d effect. Well done!

That's as good a BIF shot as I've ever seen, good work.

Excellent. This is the proof you dont need the most fancy lense and the latest camera gear for great photo

Thanks @joe nation.

@bobmaxja, I find that the K-x focusses well enough, even in AF-C mode. Usually it is my own technique that lets me down as opposed to the camera.

And in the case of Pentax gear "the latest" camera gear leaves few options and can be very limiting.

Great pic. The k-x is the most underrated piece of gear I have probably ever encountered.

The K-x is my first DSLR and I love it. I cannot believe the quality of pics I can get from it. I'm so confident in Pentax products in general thanks to the K-x and the K-5 that I've spent about $1100.00 in glass.
