Questions about Pentax K10D

I just got a Pentax K10D last weekend, and I'm a complete newbie to digital cameras. I have a couple of questions to start. First, why does the image preview sometimes not come up in Pentax Lab? And if I put my files on highest compression will I be able to upload them into Picturetrail? In addition, is there another website that anyone can suggest I upload images into. Thanks.
