Saw 3 Pentax users in One spot! (Disney, Magic Kingdom FL)

I was so overly excited to see 3 other pentax users in Disney today! That means there were at least 4 Pentax's in the park! Wow, thats the most I have seen in one spot ever! At one point 3 of us were all waiting at the same spot. Really neat!

posting to see if any of you jump on and see this! This guy said he was a member of the forum too --Are you out there??? LOL!

I can beat that! How about four Pentax DSLRs, all on the same table at Columbia Harbour House in the Magic Kingdom, including two red K-x's? Also a D700 and A700.

This was a meet-up of a few of us from Disboards a couple years ago. Sorry for the bad pic quality; it was from my kid's old Minolta.

I'm heading back in three weeks, so there'll be at least a couple of them there at that point! I have generally seen as many Pentaxes at Disney as Sonys or Olympuses... though Sonys will have probably moved into a clear #3 spot by this time.

Wow, only 3 Pentax users in one spot... that's pretty pathetic.

We are lucky if 1 in 1500 dSLR users have Pentax. Pentax has virtually abandoned this marked for the past 20 years. Pentax Imaging is probably barely adequate to supply and service a country the size of Singapore or Taiwan.

That's cool!

I was in the city a few weeks ago and spotted 3 Pentax uses as well- a (highschool?) girl with black K-r, Asian (tourist?) man with white K-x, and another man with what looked like a K-7/K-5 with DA* 50-135. It made 5 Pentaxes in total if counting my K-5 and ME Super that were there with me.

I was shocked at the bride show in March when I saw another Pentax shooter. There would have been three of us there, but the other pro wedding photog who shot Pentax in Pittsburgh jumped to Canon this year.

Glad there are a few others here that are equally as excited as I was about seeing a few pentaxians in one spot

We are somewhat of an endangered species... from the sounds of it a species that enjoys magic kingdom!

Nice!!! When I was there last March, I was also curious about the other tourists cameras.
All I could see was a man with a K-5/K-7 taking a picture of his wife and daughter in front of Hogwarts in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal, and an Asian guy with a K-5 at Disney Epcot.
