Hi all, the glass on my Kx viewfinder is so bad right now. Does anyone happen to have the part number and the phone number for part Dept?

You have to take apart more than you might think. I had CRIS replace the viewfinder on my K-7 a few months ago. $115. Pretty reasonable, plus they check and clean everything else.

Thanks for your reply. I already took it apart/put it back. I just need the part number. I was think about CRIS too but 100 bucks seems too much for me right now.

Don't know the part #, you could call CRIS and ask a tech. But for ordering the part, this is the person to contact (as of earlier this year, anyway). Although I should warn you I tried for two weeks to talk to her about the same thing (I was going to also try to replace it myself), but only got voicemail, and Lynn did not return my calls or emails. But other people have had no trouble ordering shims and stuff from her. Don't know what I did wrong.

If you can tell us how it goes it would be great =) I just recently realized I've scratched my viewfinder as well It's only usable when I look through in the corner, and would love to know how it goes to replace it.

Just got her reply today. I think we can just replace the rear lens (L7)
