Crack on bottom

When the posts first surfaced on the crack on the bottom plate, I looked at mine and it looked more like a mold line, than a crack. Well, now that the warranty is 2 weeks expired, a chunk has fallen out. Has anyone had experience with Pentax repair on this outside warranty? What the cost was to do it, or have they been covering it regardless?

If you bought it locally take it into the shop and talk to them.
All that warranty repair takes in such matters is them saying that you bought your camera at a later date. And a good shop will do that for you.

The odd K10 did have that problem, so Pentax is aware of it, and should either fix it or replace it easily enough.
