Hmm..still no K-30 reviews.

I wonder if it is because the results were so unbelieveable they had to do multiple times or its something else.

What do you guys think?

I think that it's a camera that hasn't been released yet.

Maybe they can review it from the Manual, which is now available on the PRIAC website.

There was one over in the k-30 forum.
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-k-30/186952-k-30-hands-review-pent...-facebook.html

Edit: although not a production model, and is basically a preview so maybe not a review ?

Didn't Pop Photography get their hands on one and just do a review? But yeah it is rather difficult to review a camera that's not even out yet!

AFAIK, all the previews sets are preproduction units w/ not even beta firmware, although some of them might be able to take photos. That's why there is no comments on actual performance (AF/FPS/IQ and etc) and quality of the new camera yet.

i am thinking with the preview sets out in the world now, there should be at least a large number of review/preview of the pre-production model. Okay it may not have the final release firmware and picture quality might not be up to par but that doesn meant cannot test the other things like battery life, shutter noise, buffer read write speed and etc.

If the firmware isn't final, how can you be sure its battery life? Since it's a preproduction unit (basically a prototype), the shutter might be different from the final one (words from Pentax distributor). Can't test/confirm buffer r/w speed either 'cause it's a prototype only... As a matter of fact, the one I've been playing locks up quite often, have to take out battery to reset the whole thing. And its firmware is only v0.3...
